Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Drilling Engineer to join our oil and gas exploration team. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, designing, and overseeing drilling operations to ensure that wells are drilled safely, efficiently, and cost-effectively. You will collaborate with field personnel, contractors, and other engineers to optimize drilling processes and troubleshoot any issues that arise.

Job Responsibilities

• Design and plan drilling programs, selecting appropriate drilling techniques and equipment.
• Monitor and supervise drilling operations to ensure compliance with safety regulations and operational standards.
• Analyze data and adjust drilling parameters to optimize efficiency and minimize risks.
• Collaborate with geologists, reservoir engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure optimal well placement and production.
• Troubleshoot drilling problems, including issues related to equipment failure or unforeseen geological conditions.
